The parking lots at and near Morgantown Care and Rehab were beyond full Tuesday and Wednesday as the 2012 Learning Conference was held at the facility. The event was sponsored by Signature Health Care. 

“We had our learning Congress here at MCRC. It is for all employees. It’s on a two day basis so all employees come one day or the other. It’s a learning experience. There are seven or eight programs during the day, taught by professionals, which gives the employees insight in areas such as mental health and finance. It’s an excellent program,” said Shirley Allen, director of volunteer services.

The Congress concluded Wednesday afternoon with assemblage in the Hall of Fame Café and closing remarks by administrator Logan Midkiff who was quite pleased with the program.

There were a total of 34 door prizes, donated by local merchants, as well as two televisions, given as door prizes, donated by Signature Health Care.
