2012 Kentucky 4-H Homecoming Set for June 9th in Georgetown, KY

Lloyd G. Saylor, County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the 2012 Kentucky 4-H Homecoming.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to reconnect with friends from your 4-H days and make new friends as we share an evening of good memories, good fun and good food!

This year’s Homecoming will be June 9th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Georgetown, KY.  Why Georgetown?  We have already outgrown the Good Barn and it’s hard to find another facility that will let you bring in your own caterer.  Yes, that’s right the KY Cattlemen Association will once again provide their famous ribeye steaks with all the fixings.

All 4-H alumni, volunteers, friends and supporters are invited.  Last year we had folks attend who were 4-H’ers in the 1940’s all the way to current 4-H’ers.  We had State 4-H Officers from 1954 to the current officers.  This Homecoming is for all who hold 4-H near and dear to their heart, want to reconnect with old friends & make new ones, and support 4-H today!

Kentucky 4-H has been helping young people grow and develop for over 100 years.  If that positive influence helped you become the successful individual you are today, then take this opportunity to give back and keep the 4-H Spirit alive for today’s youth and future leaders.

Your attendance and support will not only make this a great evening, but you will be part of helping continue the mission of Kentucky 4-H to Make the Best Better for another 100 years!

Top Three Reason You Should Attend the 2012 Kentucky 4-H Homecoming!

1. To reminisce about some of the best times of your life.
2. Realizing how much 4-H means to you.
3. It’s an awesome opportunity to support Kentucky 4-H.
