2012 Christmas Parade

One of the largest Christmas parades was held on Saturday. The streets were lined three to four people deep all along the parade route. Children went home with their sack full of candy and Santa came to Morgantown. Parade Winners were:

Church Floats: 1st place Morgantown Church of Christ, 2nd White Ridge Church, 3rd Cornerstone Church

Business Floats: 1st Blackhawk Composites, 2nd Morgantown Bank & Trust, 3rd Country Fine Swine

Non-Profit Floats: 1st Boy Scouts Pack 208, 2nd Butler County Girl Scouts, 3rd Butler County FFA

Business Vehicles: 1st Community Action BC Senior Citizens, 2nd Mitchell Logging, 3rd Clean Kentucky

Motorcycles: Winner John Jackson

Appreciate your service. However, is thre a way to slow the first part of the Christmas parade a bit, There is no way to recognize any of the participants. Thanks.

It would be wonderful if there was a designated spot for seniors and disabled to sit and view the parade. Many do not attend for this reason. Thankyou.
