The 18th Annual Great Teddy Bear Motorcycle Run To Benefit the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center

Bowling Green, KY.- On April 1st 2017 riders will meet at the rally point for the 18th Annual Great Teddy Bear Run at the Warren County Justice Center at 1001 Center Street. On-site registration begins at 9:00 A.M. (CST) where riders register; receive wrist bands and line up for the parade.
The parade leaves at 11:15 A.M. SHARP escorted by the Bowling Green Police Department and the Kentucky Blue Knights. Riders are expected to arrive around 12:15 P.M. at the Harry Davidson Bowling Green store located at 251 Cumberland Trace.
The WBVR 96.7 jeep will lead the parade in tribute to Scooter Davis, Bowling Green’s beloved radio personality host, in tribute for all his efforts to help the Center over the past 10 years.
Upon arrival at the dealership, riders will be served lunch with music and live entertainment. Special dealership raffle packages and cash prizes will be awarded.

About the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center
The Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center reduces trauma for child abuse victims by providing a safe, child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and provide treatment.
The Center opened its doors in January 2001 and for the past 16 years has served thousands of children in the Barren River Area Development District. 531 children received services last year.
The ultimate goal of the Center is to partner with the various professionals involved in the community‘s response, investigation, treatment and prosecution to provide vital services to victims of child sexual abuse at one child-friendly location so that any additional trauma to the child and non-offending family/caregivers is minimized or avoided altogether. Forensic Interviews, Comprehensive Child Sexual Abuse Medical Examinations, Mental Health Assessment, Treatment & Referral Services, Crisis Intervention & Advocacy and many, many others, are provided at no expense to a child’s family and as resources and staffing allow.
