The 12th District Boys/ Girls Basketball tournament will be held at Whitesville Trinity High School and will begin Monday, February 24th. The 12th district is made up of four schools. Butler Co. HS, Edmonson Co. HS, Grayson Co. HS, and Whitesville Trinity HS. The district tournament is set on a rotation and yearly changes locations in alphabetical order. John Kirkpatrick is the 12th District Tournament Director @ Whitesville Trinity High School.  

             Whitesville Trinity High School is a private school and has a student enrollment grades 9-12 of (101) students. Whitesville Trinity High School gym seats 1,250 in capacity. Due to seating capacity most of the week, the format will be playing (1) one game a night ONLY. 

             Here are some Need to Know Facts for the week of February 24-28, 2025, regarding the 12th District Boys/Girls basketball tournament. 

General Admission: $10 adults …. $ 5 students …. Coaching Cards will NOT be accepted. 

Pep Bands: Due to limited seating, Pep Bands will NOT be allowed at the tournament. 

Schedule: Monday, Feb. 24th – Girls Varsity Doubleheader, this is the ONLY night two games will be played. Games are set for 5:30pm & 7:00pm. 

Mon. Feb. 24th – 5:30pm game- Edmonson vs Whiteville Girls Game (1)

                             7:30pm game- Butler vs Grayson Girls Game (2) 

Tuesday, Feb. 25th –   Grayson vs Whitesville Boys ---6:30pm tip-off 

Wednesday, Feb. 26th –Butler vs Edmonson Boys-------6:30pm tip-off 

Thursday, Feb. 27th – Girls Championship … 6:30pm tip-off 

Friday, Feb. 28th      - Boys Championship…   6:30pm tip-off 

NOTE* VIP…. The Boys championship game tickets will be PRE-SOLD Thursday/Friday on Feb. 27/28 at your respective schools. ONLY 500 adult tickets & 50 student section tickets per school. If you do not buy your tickets at your school front office for the Friday night Boys Championship game you run the risk of being turned away at the door on Friday night, Feb. 28th at Whitesville Trinity HS.
