11th District Girls' Soccer Tournament: Butler County fall to Meade County

LEITCHFIELD - Butler County faced a deficit early and couldn't battle back from behind as Meade County pulled away to win 15-0 in the semifinals of the 11th District Girls' Soccer Tournament at Grayson County High School on Monday, Oct. 4.

The loss eliminated the Bears from the postseason.

After notching the win, Meade County advanced to the 11th District Girls' Soccer Tournament title match.

Meade County (11-9-1) moved on to meet Breckinridge County (9-8-0) in the 11th District Girls' Soccer Tournament title match. Both the champion and runner-up from the 11th District will advance to the 3rd Region Girls' Soccer Tournament.
