The Butler County Schools would like to invite the entire community to honor our Veterans at the annual “Butler County Salutes our Veterans” program.  This year’s program will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 11th at the Butler County High School gymnasium.  This year marks the observance of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and our keynote speaker, Sergeant Jim Domerese, will share his story as a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Students in grades 4-12 will also be in attendance and several school groups will be participating including the JNROTC, the BCHS Band and Choir, the NBES choir, Mrs. Gaddie’s preschoolers, and more.  A reception will follow in the BCHS library for all veterans and guests.  We hope you will join us!  For more information, call Linda Tyree at 270-526-3361.
