Emmie Hawkins, 5th grader at NBES, was the county-wide winner of the 2019 AARP Grandparent Essay. She was recognized by the Butler Co. Retired Teacher Association at a luncheon on March 9, 2020.
James Lindsey and Paula Turner were married on April 11th at 2PM by Brandon Dockery at their residence to practice social distancing, a ceremony will be later on in the year for family and friends to attend.
