Schools will soon be closing for the holidays, and many families will look for a couple of family-friendly, entertaining activities. Many parents – and grandparents – search for something that the young ones will enjoy. Some interesting activities are available within our region.

I recently overheard a discussion about how Christmas is no longer treated as a sacred day or as respectfully as it once was. As the discussion progressed, I silently agreed with much that was said. Our attitudes toward Christmas have changed.
