Thank You Butler County, 624 Christmas Shoeboxes

Dear Editor:

A Big Thank to individuals and the many churches of Butler County that supported the Franklin Graham Shoebox Ministry. Butler County packed and sent 624 boxes to war torn, impoverished children around the world. Most of these children will not receive a gift unless they receive a shoebox. Those boxes, at shipping point, will have Christian Literature, with possibly enrolling them in a Bible Study, in their language. We may never know on this earth who will be in heaven because of one of our shoeboxes. Special thanks to Debby Young for hosting a Shoebox Packing party at her house and Anne Givens of Gasper River Assoc Office for her many trips to Bowling Green delivering shoeboxes to Forrest Park. Special Recognition goes to Sandy Creek Baptist Church as they sent 209 boxes from their church. Forrest Park Baptist Church processed 17,092 boxes from this area. We also appreciate the help from the news media for helping get the information out. Willie and Cynthia Barrow plan to go as volunteers to Boone, NC, to process shoeboxes for overseas shipping. Praise God as some of the boxes will arrive in countries where missionaries cannot go.
