Morgantown Elementary School  hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their new “Big Red” Computer Lab today.  

Western Kentucky University donated 30 desktop computers and tables from their Department of Recycling and Surplus so that MES could have a second computer lab.  Even though these computers were surplus material from the university, the computers were still able to be salvaged and useable with just a few minor repairs and software updates.  The lab is being used mainly for testing and interventions for students who are experiencing difficulty in reading and math.   WKU’s mascot, BIG RED was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
