Leslee Washer placed 2nd in Cadet Division ( boys and girls under 12) at the State Horseshoe Pitching Contest.  She qualified for the state tournament by winning a tournament in Edmonson County earlier in the summer.
Leslee came into the tournament pitching 6.6% ringers and seeded 3rd;  she threw double ringers twice in her last game for 13.9% ringers in that game.

 Leslee is the daughter of Floyd and Sheila Washer and attends Butler County Middle School.

Also pitching in the state tournament were Bob Hudnall who won his division, Class A Elder and Floyd Washer pitched but did not place.
