Pie Supper, Provo Style
Sometimes, in order to help others, you have to pause and help yourself. Such was the case Saturday night when Provo Rural Development hosted their annual pie supper and auction. “This is our only fund raiser meant to supply funds to keep the facility funded,” said president, Tony Wilson as he took a break from greeting folks to Provo. “Our winter fund raiser helps support Rochester Fire Department and the 4-H Camp.”

Offerings this year included barbeque dinners, games of skill for kids, face painting, drawings for merchandise, a “jail”, and the perennial cake walk, pie and cake auction and donated merchandise auction.

“We want to thank all who came, those who donated merchandise and those who helped in any way,” said Wilson. Provo facilities include recreation for kids, a pavilion and the community center itself.
