Despite being rescheduled, the Green River Catfish Festival 3-on-3 basketball tournament at North Butler Elementary still attracted an impressive array of talent.  The tournament was held Saturday, July 18.  

The youngest team had the unique opportunity to compete against older players, an experience they thoroughly enjoyed.

 

In the combined 16+ division, the Once Upon a Timers sent the Winners to the consolation bracket with a dramatic Caleb Beasley buzzer-beater.

 

However, the Winners battled back, and with Ty Price catching fire in the final two games, they secured the championship.

 

Organizer Jake Lee remarked, “The atmosphere was fantastic, and we’re excited to build on this momentum next year!”
