BTN Candidate Profile: Angela Emmick/4th District Magistrate
"Butler County isn’t just where I live—it is the place that shaped me. As a lifelong resident of the 4th District, I have walked these fields, supported our local shops, and lived with my family right here alongside yours. I’m not just asking for your vote; I’m asking for the opportunity to serve the community that has given me so much.
Rooted in Our Community
-A Farmer’s Perspective: Farming is in my blood. I know that success doesn’t happen by accident—it takes early mornings, late nights, and a lot of grit. My background in agriculture has taught me the value of stewardship and the importance of preparing today for what we want to harvest tomorrow.
-Small Business Grit: As a female business owner and entrepreneur, I understand the unique hurdles our local economy faces. I know what it means to balance a budget, manage a team, and navigate the "red tape." I will bring that same fiscal common sense to the fiscal court to ensure your tax dollars are used wisely and transparently.
My Vision for the 4th District
Focused on the Future
I want your children and grandchildren to see a future here. That means building a thriving, modern county with the infrastructure and job opportunities that allow the next generation to stay, work, and grow right here in Butler County.
Honoring Our Past
We are who we are because of the hard-working families who came before us. I am committed to respecting our traditions and preserving the history that makes our county special. Progress should never come at the expense of our heritage.
Keeping Our Sense of Identity
Our "small-town" feel and rural character are what make us unique. As your Magistrate, I will protect the identity of the 4th District, ensuring that as we grow, we do so in a way that feels like home.
A Voice for All
I believe in a government that is accessible. Whether you’re a farmer, a business owner, or a retiree, your concerns matter to me. I am running to be a representative who truly listens and makes sure every resident in our district is heard.
Why I’m Asking for Your Vote
I have the business experience to handle the budget and the lifelong roots to understand our needs. I am ready to work, ready to listen, and ready to lead.
I would be honored to earn your vote this May. Look for me at Spot #3 on your ballot!
"I’m not just running for a seat; I’m running to be your advocate. Let’s work together to move Butler County forward while protecting the things that make us great." --Angela Emmick
