ALL IN Community Resource Event Connects Families with Disability Support Services

On Saturday morning, April 18, 2026, students, families, and community members gathered for a resource-packed event to connect individuals with disabilities to vital support services. Running from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event showcased 26 organizations from across the state, each sharing information about programs and opportunities available to attendees.
Kristen Fields, Ashlynne Brooks, LeeAnn Hudnall,  Lora King, Anita Cardwell, Shay Hood, Kim Coots, and Rhonda Henderson

Kristen Fields, Butler County Director of Special Education, and Anita Cardwell, coordinated the event, bringing a wide range of resources to one convenient location. Attendees were encouraged to visit each organization’s table to learn about services, ask questions, and build connections.

To add excitement, participants received stamps as they visited booths. Once completed, stamped cards could be exchanged for tickets to win door prizes generously donated by community members and local supporters. This interactive format encouraged greater engagement and allowed families to explore all available resources.

The event served as a valuable opportunity for students and families to discover programs, build relationships with service providers, and learn more about available support options for individuals with disabilities. Organizers highlighted the strong turnout and community involvement as a testament to the ongoing commitment to helping families access essential resources.

Events like this underscore the power of community collaboration and the positive impact of uniting organizations to support individuals with disabilities and their families.
