MORGANTOWN, KY. (March 10, 2026) - Morgantown Bank & Trust has announced that its new Main Office, located at 202 N Main St., will open to customers on March 24th.

The new state-of-the-art building introduces a spacious lobby, multiple community and history-based themes, multiple updated drive-thru lanes, wider traffic flow, and additional staff all working under one roof. These improvements provide a level of service and efficiency designed to make everyday banking quicker, smoother, and more convenient for our customers.

“Our new Main Office represents a significant investment in the future of our community and in the service we provide our customers,” said Jason T. Jones, President/CEO of Morgantown Bank & Trust. “We’re excited to welcome customers beginning with our soft opening on March 24th and look forward to celebrating this milestone with the community during our official ribbon cutting on April 28th.”

As part of this transition, Morgantown Bank & Trust’s Highway 70 branch, located at 71 Veterans Way, will move to drive-thru only service beginning April 6th.

 The Highway 70 location will remain open and fully operational through its drive-thru lanes, where customers can continue to complete everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine banking needs. 

  In addition to the continued convenience at Highway 70, customers who prefer in-person conversations, private appointments, or full-service support will have access to Morgantown Bank & Trust’s new Main Office less than 5 minutes away.  

 “Many of the team members our customers know and trust at Highway 70 will be moving to the new Main Office,” said Jones.  “Customers will continue to see the same familiar faces and receive the friendly, reliable service they expect from us, just in a space designed to make business banking and more complex consumer transactions faster and more convenient. For those who prefer the convenience of the Highway 70 location, it will remain available for quick drive-thru transactions.”
