Givens Named Shareholder at Kerrick Bachert
Kerrick Bachert PSC is pleased to announce the nomination of attorney Colton W. Givens as a shareholder of the firm, effective January 1, 2026.
Colton joined Kerrick Bachert in 2018 after clerking for federal judges in Paducah and London, Kentucky. He maintains a litigation-focused practice, representing a variety of individuals, businesses, and organizations in matters including business and commercial disputes, real estate disputes, employment law, higher education law, and personal injury. Colton also assists small businesses owners with formation and transactions, and helps individuals prepare estate plans. He regularly appears in Kentucky’s state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
Founding member Tom Kerrick says, “Colton has been a valuable part of the Kerrick Bachert team since he joined us seven years ago. He is an exceptional attorney and individual, and we look forward to growing the firm with Colton as an owner.”
Colton is a graduate of Butler County High School, Murray State University, and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He resides in Butler County and is active in several local organizations, including the Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce, the Butler County Extension District Board, and the Butler County Judicial Center Project Development Board. In his professional capacity, Colton is a past president of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association, and he currently serves as a director of the Kentucky Defense Counsel and as the District 2 Representative on the Kentucky Bar Association Continuing Legal Education committee.
