Second grader Cohen Phelps of Morgantown Elementary School represented Butler County in the Kentucky Association of Counties' annual "I Love My Kentucky County" art contest.  

Cohen was named the Grade-Level Winner in this year's competition, a remarkable feat considering the nearly 400 entries from students in grades K-8 across the Commonwealth. 

"My artwork is of a tractor pull event that happens in our county. I think the tractors look really cool. I like how fast they go," said Cohen.

Cohen's winning artwork will be showcased at the annual KACo Conference. It will also grace the pages of County Line Magazine and the 2026 KACo Calendar.
