Robins named Class 3A, District 2 Coach of the Year

Butler County Head Coach Josh Robins has been named the Class 3A, District 2 Coach of the Year. 

 

The Kentucky Football Coaches Association (KFCA) honored Robins.

Under the direction of Robins, Butler County showed improvement throughout the 2025 high school football season. Butler County won its first three games in the latest high school gridiron campaign. The Bears compiled a 3-7 record in the 2025 high school football season.

Robins will receive his award from the KFCA during the KHSAA State Football Finals at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in December. 

Glasgow senior quarterback Hudson Gumm was named the Class 3A, District 2 Player of the Year 

LaRue County junior Matt Stephens was named the Class 3A, District 2 Lineman of the Year. 

Butler County has entered its offseason and is currently preparing for the 2026 high school football season.
