BCHS Boys and Girls Soccer Senior Night

Butler County High School recognized the senior girls and boys soccer players.

 





#7 Yasmin Moreira Cesar

Yasmin is the daughter of Yuri Moreira Cesar & Bianca Amaro. Her host parents are Shawn & Gloria Johnson. She plays Left Back Defense for the Lady Bears. Her favorite soccer memory from this season is the first victory with her team. Advice for her teammates is to always maintain a positive attitude and have fun while playing. Yasmin would like to thank her parents for giving her the opportunity to be here. Her goals after graduation include getting her dream job and building a family.

#11 Loree Davidson

Loree is the daughter of Joe & Krissy Davidson. Her position for the Lady Bears is Striker.

Her favorite soccer memory is when she scored the winning point against Breckenridge County with only 1 minute left on the clock. Loree would like to give the following advice to her teammates: Soccer is just as much a mental sport as it is physical. A negative mindset will not give you a positive outcome. Learn from your mistakes and grow from them. Put forth all your effort even on the days you don't feel like it. When asked who she would like to thank, Loree responded with "First I would like to thank my family who have pushed me to be the best I can be. My mom shows up no matter the distance and is my biggest supporter.

I would like to thank my coaches for their time and effort towards teaching me new skills, giving me confidence and motivating me to be the best I can be. Last, I want to thank my teammates, who are more like family, for always hyping me up and pointing out the positives in everything I do". Her plans after graduation are to get into Nursing School to be a Pediatric Nurse or a Labor & Delivery Nurse. She may also play soccer for the University of Brescia.

#12 Makayla Beatty

Makayla is the daughter of Terrance & Maria Beatty. She plays Defensive Mid. Her favorite soccer memory is when she got body slammed her sophomore year in the game against Breckenridge County. Makayla wants to remind her teammates to have faith and always try no matter how frustrating it can be. She would like to thank her brother for everything he has done and for always being her biggest supporter. Her plan after high school is to go to college and become a teacher.

#13 Kenzie Johnson

Kenzie is the daughter of Cory & Catrina Beastey, and she is the Center Back Defender. Her favorite soccer memory is scoring a goal against Russellville after being injured for most of the season her junior vear. Kenzie has the following advice for her teammates: "Cherish the time you have with your team because they become your family." She would like to thank her family for always being there and supporting her. Kenzie plans to attend Tech School after she graduates and become an Ultrasound Technician.

#20 Eulailia Mendoza

Eutailia is the daughter of Pedro Mendoza & Juana Alonzo. She plays Defense. Her favorite soccer memory is the first day of practice because that's the day it all began. When it comes to advice for her teammates, Eulailia says "Success isn't just about winning; it's about the effort, the learning and the growth we experience along the way." She would sincerely like to thank her teammates for being the heart and soul of her journey. Also, her coaches for their passion and encouragement which has made her the person she is today.

She would lastly like to thank her parents for always supporting her. After high school Eulailia plans to go to college and become a Registered Nurse.

#1 Carter West

Carter is the son of Greg & Leslie West. He mainly plays the position of Left Wing for the Bears but has slid over into Defense a few times this season. Carter's favorite soccer memory is when the team made it to the Regional Tournament last year. His advice for his teammates is to keep striving to be the best you can be. Always believe in yourself, even if no one else does. He would like to thank his family, friends, teammates and Coach for all their support, especially Serg® Rada. Carter says the following: "Thank you to Sergio for all he has done throughout my high school seasons. He has been a great friend, mentor, supporter and coach and always supported me every step of the way. I will never be able to repay him. He is one of the most impactful people I have ever met." After high school Carter plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in Mechanical Engineering.



# 8 Cameron Porter

Cam is the son of Todd Porter and Pamela Staples. He is a Defender for the Bears. His favorite soccer memory is when the team beat Russellville on their Senior Night. Cam would like to remind his teammates that effort will always get them further than excuses.

He would like to thank his mom, Pam, his Mammaw, Linda, his stepmom, Ashlea and his girlfriend, Sophie, for making him the man he is today. His plans after graduation are to join the Air Force and become a high school teacher.



#21 Eli Ellis

Eli is the son of Richie & Alicia Ellis. His position on the team is Midfield. His favorite memory from soccer is winning games. El's advice for his teammates is to never let a single game ruin the season. He would like to thank his family for always pushing him to play his hardest. After high school, Eli plans to attend nursing school.



#66 Landon Buford Beatty

Landon is the son of Terrance & Maria Beatty. He is the goalkeeper for the Bears. His favorite soccer memory is when the team beat Grayson County last year's District game and then going to the Regional Tournament. Landon has the following advice for his teammates: never give up on your dreams and keep pursuing what makes you happy. He is thankfut for his family and friends for helping himon the great journey. Landon says it have been an honor getting to play this beautiful spotwith his three best friends and this amazing team. Once he graduates, he plans to continue playing soccer and pursue a Culinary career.
