BCHS Marching Band to compete in "Show of Bands"

The Butler County High School Marching Band will compete at 2025 Russellville

"Show of Bands" this weekend, Saturday, September 13, at Historic Rhea Stadium.

Competing in Class AAA, the BCHS Marching Band is scheduled to perform at 6:15 PM. This annual event brings together talented bands from across the region to showcase their musical excellence, school spirit, and dedication.

Event Schedule Highlights:

5:15 PM – National Anthem

5:30 PM – Senior Recognition

6:00 PM – Competition Begins

6:15 PM – Butler County High School Performs

7:15 PM – Host Band (Russellville) Exhibition Performance

7:30 PM – Awards Ceremony

Other bands scheduled to perform include Dawson Springs, Logan County, and Greenwood High School, covering a wide range of classification levels from Class A to AAAAA. This year’s event will be held at Rhea Stadium, a celebrated community venue known for its rich tradition and unique atmosphere — is an ideal backdrop for a night of music, marching, and school pride.

The Butler County High School Marching Band invites family, friends, alumni, and the entire community to come out and support our students as they kick off their 2025 competition season.
