BEARS BLITZ TO 3-0 START BEHIND DOMINANT STATS

The BUTLER CO. BEARS are off to a roaring 3-0 start, and they’re doing

it with authority on both sides of the ball. Through three games, the BEARS outscored their

opponents 122-49, racked up jaw-dropping offensive numbers, and delivered big plays when it

matters.

OFFENSIVE FIREWORKS IGNITE THE BEARS

The Bears' offense has been a juggernaut, averaging 40.7 points per game, thanks to a potent

mix of explosive plays, ground dominance, and sharp quarterback play.

Running the offense with the confidence of a veteran is freshman quarterback BRODY

DOCKERY (#13). In his first varsity season, DOCKERY has impressed with 26 completions

on 35 attempts for 357 yards, 7 touchdowns, and just 1 interception. He’s averaging 119.0

passing yards and 2.3 touchdowns per game, proving to be a steady and efficient leader under

center.

The ground game, however, is where the Bears are truly feasting. Sophomore standout KAIDEN

RICHARDSON (#0) has been nearly unstoppable, rushing for 503 yards on 45 carries (that’s

167.7 yards per game) with 4 touchdowns. Right alongside him is junior bruiser KEVIN

ROBINS (#6), who’s piled up 273 rushing yards, 5 touchdowns, and a physical presence that

wears defenses down.

RECEIVING THREATS STRETCH THE FIELD

The Bears’ aerial attack has been balanced and efficient. Leading the charge is junior wideout

CARSON DAVIS (#3), who’s emerged as DOCKERY'S go-to target. DAVIS has reeled in 13

receptions for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging 82.7 yards per game.

KAIDEN RICHARDSON (#0) adds more value through the air with 2 receiving touchdowns,

and CAINAN VINCENT (#2) and KEVIN ROBINS (#6) are steady options, combining for

key chain-moving receptions.

DEFENSE SHUTTING TEAMS DOWN COLD

If the offense is explosive, the defense is suffocating.

Through three games, the Bears' defense allowed just 49 total points and consistently forced

turnovers and three-and-outs. This unit is stingy, physical, and fast. Junior two-way star KEVIN

ROBINS (#6) has been a force with 30 total tackles and a team-leading 5 tackles for loss.

Senior linebacker CHRISTIAN WHITE (#58) anchors the middle with 22 tackles, 3 TFLs, and

2 sacks, making life miserable for opposing offenses.

Seniors CLAY STEFF (#25) and BROCK HENDERSON (#34) bring consistency and

leadership, combining for 37 tackles, with HENDERSON also registering a sack. WILL

AMOS (#53) contributes across all phases, with 14 tackles and special teams production.

KAIDEN RICHARDSON (#0) also flexes his versatility with a forced fumble on defense,

adding to his all-around dominance.

SCORING SPREAD ACROSS THE ROSTER

Unsurprisingly, the Bears' stat leaders are also their top scorers.

KAIDEN RICHARDSON leads the team with 44 total points, coming from 4 rushing

TDs, 2 receiving, a 2-point conversion, and even a defensive score.

KEVIN ROBINS follows with 32 points, all from touchdowns on the ground.

CARSON DAVIS has added 24 points via 4 receiving TDs.

Freshman quarterback BRODY DOCKERY has also chipped in with a touchdown and 2 two-

point conversions, totaling 10 points.

SPECIAL TEAMS & INTANGIBLES

On special teams, junior kicker JONATHAN PORTILLO (#7) and senior WILL AMOS (#53)

have combined to make 6 of 9 PATs. The kicking game is still developing, but the Bears haven’t

needed many field goals — they’re finding the end zone regularly.

The team has also recovered 5 fumbles, with KEVIN ROBINS, CLAY STEFF, MASON

ASHBY, BENJAMIN CLARK, and BROCK HENDERSON each registering recoveries.

BEARS SET FOR TOUGH ROAD TEST FRIDAY NIGHT

The Bears now look to stay flawless as they are travelling this week to take on the Class 5A

GRAYSON CO. COUGARS in a tough road test.

The battle is set for Friday, September 12th, with kickoff at 7:00 PM on the Grayson Co. High School campus.

The game will be live on WLBQ.
