Chalk Art & Car Show
Butler County residents gathered on Saturday, September 6, for a day that blended artistry and community connection. The Butler County Arts Guild hosted its 9th Annual Chalk Festival, transforming sidewalks into galleries. Complementing the artistry, Michael Capps organized a Car Show that brought a different kind of beauty to the event. “This festival has something for everyone—chalk for the children, vendors for the moms, and cars for the dads,” noted Elana Fahey, treasurer of the Butler County Arts Guild. Her words captured the event’s true purpose: to engage every member of the community.

As the chalk drawings lined the street, the judges walked around, carefully deciding. At 3:30, the final decisions were made.
