Kentucky’s NFCA High School All-Americans

An Elite Legacy in Fastpitch Softball

Since 1995, only FOUR girls from Kentucky have earned NFCA High School All-American honors.

Becky Abner — North Laurel High School

• 2001 – 2nd Team
• 2002 – 1st Team

Meagan Aull — Owensboro Catholic High School

• 2006 – 2nd Team
• 2007 – Honorable Mention

Molly Johnson (Belcher) — Bell County High School

• 2009 – 1st Team

Layla Ogden — South Warren High School

• 2025 – 2nd Team (Junior Season)

"When you talk about elite fastpitch softball, Kentucky has produced just four NFCA High School All-Americans since 1995. That’s right—only four. Becky Abner, Meagan Aull, Molly Johnson, and now, South Warren’s own Layla Ogden, who was just named a 2025 NFCA 2nd Team All-American as a junior. That’s national-level talent from the Bluegrass State. Congrats to Layla and all four for raising the bar in Kentucky softball."
