Local Youth Qualifies for Prestigious Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s
Hurricane Mills, TN – Eight-year-old Asher Ingram, son of Chase and Ashley Ingram, has qualified to compete in one of the most prestigious youth motocross events in the country — the 2025 Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, taking place July 28 through August 2 in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Asher, a local standout in the motocross scene, began racing in 2023, participating in Hair Scrambles and Arenacross events. In just two short years, he has made a name for himself in the sport. During the 2024–25 season, he was crowned the Western Kentucky Arenacross Micro-E (4–8) Champion, and this year, his hard work and determination led him to qualify for Loretta’s — a dream for riders across the nation.
To secure his spot at the national event, Asher competed in the North Central Region AMA Championship in Tigerton, Wisconsin, where he earned the title of Micro-E (4–7) Limited Overall Champion. This win placed him among an elite group of youth riders heading to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, widely regarded as the proving ground for future motocross professionals.
Asher is training hard for race week with the support of his coach, Matt Vonlinger of VBMX Schools, his racing friends, and his father on their home practice track. He was also recently selected to join the 110 Racing Mx elite athlete team, gaining sponsorship and recognition for his achievements and potential.
The Ingram family would like to thank the many friends, family members, and community supporters who have helped Asher on his journey. They invite everyone to cheer him on as he represents the region on the national stage.
