The UK Cooperative Extension Office will offer a 6 part series on beef cattle management called “Master Cattleman” this fall.  The sessions will be 6 Monday nights in October and November.  The presenters will be UK Extension Beef Cattle Specialists.  Topics covered will be:  Nutrition, Herd Health, Reproduction and Record Keeping, Genetics, Marketing and Profitability, and Facilities and Winter Feeding.  The program is open to farmers in Allen, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Simpson, and Warren Counties.  There are a limited number of spots available.  To register contact the Butler County Extension Service at 526-3767 and drop off your check to reserve your spot.
