Butler County Family Care Announces New Location

Butler County Family Care is excited to announce the opening of its new location at 1238 S. Main Street in Morgantown, right beside Hometown IGA in the Morgan Manor Shopping Center. The clinic, which first opened in Morgantown in 2014, has experienced significant growth in patient volumes. To accommodate this growth and further enhance services, Ohio County Healthcare (OCH) included the development of a new clinic in its 2024 Capital Budget. OCH invested over $500,000 in demolition, construction, and furnishings for the new facility.

The new location features a range of improvements, including enhanced parking, a larger facility with nine exam rooms, a spacious lobby, and an X-ray suite. All three of our providers—Bruce Durham, MD; Jordan Pharris, DO; and Donna Embry, APRN — offer a comprehensive range of family medicine services for both pediatric and adult patients.

The new clinic location opened on Monday, November 18th, and continues to offer walk-in availability and same-day appointments. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, with services also available on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month.

In celebration of the new clinic, Butler County Family Care partnered with the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce to host a ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday, December 17th, from 12 PM to 1 PM. Refreshments were provided by Hebrews 12 Coffee, and attendees had the opportunity to tour the new space. A special thank you goes to the Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce for their support, as well as to the attending members, the Mayor of Morgantown - Billy Phelps, the OCH Employees, and the community for their presence at this exciting milestone.

“This beautiful new clinic space is a result of over a decade of loyalty and trust bestowed on us by our wonderful patients,” Shellie Shouse, OCH CEO. “We are very proud to continue to increase access to care for the Butler County area through this clinic and our expanded 5-Star rated hospital services. I want to thank the staff and the providers for their continued commitment to outstanding care.”
