Butler County High School held BearFest 2025 on Friday at the Girl/Boy double header against Whitesville Trinity.  Bailey Moore, the daughter of Kyle and Kim Moore was crowned Queen and Logan Givens, son of Cody and Cholla Givens, was crowned King.

Representing the Freshmen Class, 

Ms. Audrey Belcher and Mr. Clayton Cardwell. Audrey is the daughter of Amy Belcher of Morgantown and the late Dustin Belcher. Clayton is the son of Chad and Leslie Cardwell of Rochester.

Ms. Kyra Webster and Mr. Jay Peralta. Kyra is the daughter of Jeff and Krista Webster. Jay is the son of Ann and Jack Coffman, all of Morgantown.

 Representing the Sophomore Class:

Ms. Ava Wilson and  Mr. Layton Flener. Ava is the daughter of Jordan and Katie Wilson. Layton is the son of Kurt and Katie Flener, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Mattison West and Mr. Evan Henderson. Mattison is the daughter of Karri White and Matthew West. Evan is the son of Cody and Deneatra Henderson, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Evan Coley and Mr. Lucas Givens. Evan is the daughter of Nick Coley and Robin Coley. Lucas is the son of William and Jennifer Givens, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Brooklyn Blankenship and Mr. Curtis Murphy. Brooklyn is the daughter of Amanda and Danny Woolbright of Bowling Green. Curtis is the son of Marty and Lora Murphy of Morgantown.

 Ms. Lydia Brown andMr. Blake Bratcher. Lydia is the daughter of Brandon and Jennifer Brown of Morgantown. Blake is the son of Ben and Kelly Bratcher of Roundhill.

 Ms. Larkin O’Connell and Mr. Logan Givens. Larkin is the daughter of Larry O’Connell and Brandy O’Connell. Logan is the son of Cody and Cholla Givens, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Anna Claire Phelps and Mr. Garrett Phelps. Anna Claire is the daughter of Brandon and Pam Phelps. Garrett is the son of Brian and Rachel Phelps, all of Morgantown. 

Ms. Bailey Moore & Mr. Justin Castlen. Bailey is the daughter of Kyle and Kim Moore. Justin is the son of Richard and Joanna Castlen, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Lilly Hatcher and Mr. Case Hooten. Lilly is the daughter of Steve and Felicia Hatcher. Case is the son of Amy Hood Waddle and Bobbie Hooten Jr., all of Morgantown.

Ms. Skylar Schroeder and Mr. Heath Chaney. Skylar is the daughter of Robin Johnson of Morgantown and Scott Schroeder of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Heath is the son of Jeff and Jamie Chaney of Morgantown.

Ms. Addison Henderson and Mr. Grant Jones. Addison is the daughter of Cameron and Lauren Henderson. Grant is the son of Wesley and Miranda Jones, all of Morgantown.

Ms. Carlie West & Mr. Brock Pfingston. Carlie is the daughter of Richard and Dawn West of Morgantown. Brock is the son of Sheri and Adam Carroll also of Morgantown and Robert Pfingston of Evansville, Indiana.

Butler County’s Crown Bearer and Escort for this evening are Little Miss Lydia Ann Embry and Master Grant Davis Hughes. Lydia is the 4 year old daughter of Matthew and Ashten Embry of Morgantown. She is in Preschool at the BC Early Childhood Center. Lydia is the granddaughter of Mark and Kimberlea Embry, also of Morgantown and Robert Rice and Ann Potts of Eminence. She enjoys gymnastics, arts, crafts & singing. 

Grant Davis is the 5 year old son of Wade and Shira Hughes of Morgantown. He attends Mrs. Lisa Lee’s Daycare. Grant Davis is the grandson of Craig and Becky Hankins of Morgantown and Martin and Linda Hughes of Smiths Grove. He enjoys playing baseball, basketball, swimming and traveling to new places with Mommy & Daddy.

 2024 Bearfest Queen and King: Ms. Taylor Leach and Mr. Gage Beasley. Taylor is the daughter of Todd and Tina Leach of Morgantown. She is currently attending PJ’s Cosmetology School to pursue a career as a Hairstylist. 

 Gage is the son of Scotty and Stacey Beasley, also of Morgantown. He is a student at SKYCTC, pursuing a degree as an Advanced Manufacturing Technician. Gage is currently employed at Delta Faucet as a Maintenance Technician.
