2024 Butler County Agriculture Field Day - (Moving From the Past to the Future) is September 5th

The 2024 Butler County Field Day will offer something for everyone in the family.

We are working with the Daugherty family to bring you a field day highlighting new ways of doing farm operations.  We will have presentations focusing on the Bud Box cattle handling system, protecting crops using unmanned Arial application equipment, and a presentation on preserving farmland for the future.  There will be informational booths, updates from other agriculture organizations, and so much more.   We will finish the afternoon with a delicious bbq meal prepared by Carl Daugherty and our 4-H Teen Club.  There is no cost to attend the field day.

The Butler County Extension Service and Butler County Farm Bureau work together to make the event possible.

The program is being held at the Banock family farm in Bancok, KY.   The site address is 223 Daugherty Road in Morgantown, KY.  Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. and the program starts promptly at 4:00 p.m.  Butler County FFA will be assisting with parking so please follow their direction.

For more information contact the Butler County Extension Office of the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service at 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown or by calling 270-526-3767.
