2024 Butler County Extension Hall of Fame

At the July meeting of the Butler County Extension Council, three volunteers who have shown extraordinary leadership and dedication were inducted into the Butler County Extension Hall of Fame.

Staff at the Extension Service began the program in 2022 to recognize people who have made extraordinary commitment to the people of Butler County through the Extension Service.  Elwanda Romans, Patty Stuckwisch, and Lee Ann Daugherty are the inductees of 2024.

Elwanda Romans was a dedicated homemaker leader.  She served multiple times as county president, in several committee chair positions, and on the area board.

Patty Stuckwisch is a dedicated leader.  She has judged countless speeches and demonstrations and went to 4-H camp 23 times.

Lee Ann Daugherty has served in multiple positions of leadership in both the agriculture and 4-H program.  She has worked with livestock judging for many years and continues to serve on the Stockman’s Association board of directors.  Lee Ann and her family are hosting the county field day this year on September 5th at the Banock Farm at 4:00 p.m.  Lee Ann’s picture will be available at a later time.  She and her family were unable to attend.
