Toughest Race on the Green River
The 2024 GRCF Road Race was held on Saturday morning. This race would not be possible without fantastic community support. As such, there are many people to thank:
- Giles Taylor, Morgantown Chief of Police, and SGT Jessie Burden with Morgantown Police Department for providing the escort
- Butler County EMS
- Volunteers- Tammy Suggs, Kim and Johnny Embry, and Renee Hampton

The event was organized by Rhonda Vaughn, Deanna Embry, and Michele Duvall. Also, Chamber Board members Tim Flener, Butler County Judge Executive, and Mayor Billy Phelps were on hand.
