Butler County NSDAR host Flag Day ceremony

On Friday, June 14, the Butler County NSDAR hosted Flag Day ceremonies on the courthouse lawn. Flag Chairman Gail Gaddie welcomed those in attendance.

The Presentation of Colors was conducted by the General Richard Butler Chapter SAR. Karlee Gaddie (GRCAR) led the Pledge to the Flag. John Embry, 8th grade U.S. History teacher at Butler County Middle School, spoke briefly about the importance of the flag and Doug Odle recited "A Ragged Old Flag."

Butler County Chapter NSDAR Lynda O'Driscoll offered closing remarks.
