Ogden sets School Record

Sophomore Layla Ogden, at South Warren High School Lady Spartan softball, set a new single-season record for Most Wins in a Season. Former Spartan and former WKU ace Shelby Nunn held the previous school record.

In the spring of 2015, sophomore Shelby Nunn finished the season in the circle with a record of (18-5); (18) wins. This record was held until this season as sophomore Layla Ogden finished the season in the

circle with a record of (20-0) (20) wins. Ogden’s 2024 season pitching numbers are as follows: (20) Wins, (0) losses, (143) strikeouts, (32) walks, and100 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.05.

Layla is the daughter of Kerra Ogden and Matt Ogden and the granddaughter of Mark and Lena Allen.
