The May 21Primary Election in Butler County yielded mostly predictable results. In the presidential race, for Republicans, former president Donald J. Trump was the top vote getter with 87% of the 1158 votes cast being for him. Receiving the remaining 13% of the votes, in order from most to least votes were uncommitted, Nikki R. Haley, Ron Desantis, Chris Christie, VivekRamaswamy, and Ryan L. Binkley, even though only Trump remains in the race. Trump was the top vote-getter statewide.  For Democrats, the most votes went to current President Joseph R. Biden, JR. with 78% of votes cast for Biden.  Receiving the remaining 22% of the votes, in order from most to least votes were uncommitted, Marianne Williamson, and Dean Phillips. Only Biden and Williamson remain in the race. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. carried the state.
