Four BCHS Students accepted into Governor Scholars Program

Four Butler County High School students have been accepted into Kentucky's prestigious Governor's School program. Addy Miller has been accepted into the Governor's Scholar Program, while Maggie Drake, Brennan Bartley, and Maggie Childers have been accepted into the Governor's School for the Arts.

The Governor's Scholar Program is a highly competitive summer residential program for rising seniors in Kentucky. The program is designed to provide academic and personal growth opportunities for students across the state. Students are selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, and extracurricular activities. Participants attend classes and engage in extracurricular activities on college campuses across the state. The program covers all tuition, room and board, and other necessary expenses.

Addy Miller, who was accepted into the Governor's Scholar Program, expressed her excitement and gratitude for being chosen for the program. On the other hand, the Governor's School for the Arts is a program that provides high school students with the opportunity to study and explore the arts.
