According to a press release from the Morgantown Police Department (MPD), on 03/22/2021 Officers with the Morgantown Police Department responded to an alarm call at Meredith’s Discount Liquor store at around 6:40 am on the 22nd. MPD Officers on the scene arrested Paul Cameron Jr., age 19, of Morgantown. Through a continued investigation of series of thefts throughout the city of Morgantown, Cameron was charged with: Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree, Carrying a Concealed Weapon x2, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm) x2, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree and Public Intoxication. The investigation is ongoing with multiple new charges to be presented to the Grand Jury.
