Beef Quality Care and Assurance Training for Butler County Producers

The Butler County Extension Service will offer Beef Quality Care and Assurance training.  This training is designed to help beef producers produce healthy and wholesome beef that consumers demand.  It is a nationwide program that educates producers on the best techniques to work and handle cattle, how to administer medication and vaccines properly, and what records must be kept on a beef operation.  This program replaces the old BQA program that many of our farmers have participated in.  Any farm that is participating in the county CAIP cost share program doing a beef cattle practice will need to be BQCA certified.  There are two different sessions that producers may choose to attend.

July 19th               6:00 p.m.             Butler County Extension Service

July 20th               9:00 a.m.             Butler County Extension Service
