BC Jr. Pro Softball Season Underway
The Butler County Jr. Pro Softball League launched its inaugural season this past week. Their season will run from mid-April through the end of May with a season-ending tournament held the first weekend in June.

The league features three teams comprised of players between 9 and 12 years old: the Hilltoppers, the Cardinals, and the Crimson Tide. The Hilltoppers are coached by Jesse Miller, the Cardinals are coached by Angie Easley, and the Crimson Tide are coached by Kyle Newcom.

The league will play their games at the Charles Black City Park on Mondays and Thursdays, weather permitting. Some games will be played at the Rochester Ballpark. Most game nights will feature a double-header.
