North Butler Students Recognized for Awards

Butler County Retired Teachers recognized two North Butler students recently. BCRTA president Darryl Dockery presented Butler County’s Spelling Bee winner, Madison Jones, with a certificate and financial award.

Dockery also presented Butler County's Grandparent Essay winner, Dastin Scott, with a certificate and financial award. Dastin wrote about Papaw Rick Scott, "Why my Grandparent should be the AARP Kentucky Grandparent of the Year"

North Butler Elementary students were also recognized for their winning entries in the Conservation Jim Claypool Art Contest.
