 Beautiful weather and beautiful cars flooded the courthouse square on Saturday, September 23rd for a car show organized by Jody Ellis titled Show & Shine. The inspiration for the car show came from Mr. Ellis Jody wanting to find a way to help people genuinely. He chose for all monies from the car show to go directly to benefit the Butler County Cancer Assistance.  Mr. Ellis is very taken with the non-profit because of how they operate. One hundred percent of all proceeds go to help local individuals and their families who are experiencing financial difficulties due to battling this unbias disease.

With the massive turnout, over 60 entries, it was easy to see that the show was an enormous success. Prizes were given away via raffle throughout the day, and winners were recognized in various divisions. Jody stated that at the end of the day it felt good to be able to help others and he knew that those who attended the show had the same feeling.
