The 2017 edition of the BCHS Football Bears continues daily workouts preparing for the upcoming season. The Bears have been busy in the month of July with Passing League workouts at Bowling Green HS, and 7 on 7 Passing League Tournament at South Laurel High School.   These events have provided much-needed reps for the Bears passing game skills and also defending the pass. The Bears to date have played in 7 on 7 Passing events with the following schools: Bowling Green HS, Franklin Simpson HS, Warren Central HS, Madisonville HS, Russellville, HS, Daviess Co. HS, Green Co. HS,  Warren East HS.
The Bears will have one controlled scrimmage away on Friday, August 11th in Princeton, at Caldwell Co. HS. The following week, the Bears open the 2017 regular season at HOME vs.  Logan Co. HS, on Friday, August 18th. Kickoff is at 7 pm at Butler Co. High School.
The Butler Co. 2017 Football Preview will feature roster, schedule, and a look at the 2017 season; returning starters and a look at the Class 2A District 2 opponents.
