Republicans Rally at Lincoln-Reagan Dinner
The Butler County, Republican Party Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner, was a success. Over one-hundred citizens were in attendance to listen to some of Kentucky's elected officials.
Butler County Chairman Dwayne McKinney welcomed those in attendance. Judge Executive David Fields gave the invocation and Maggie Drake led the Pledge of Allegiance. Hannah Renfrow sang the National Anthem.
Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles, State Treasurer Allison Ball, State Senator CB Embry Jr. and State Representative Jim DeCesare spoke stressing the importance of the upcoming elections.
Brigadier General Robert Givens also spoke along with Mark Lord representing Congressman Guthrie. Everyone who spoke emphasized the importance of the upcoming presidential and local elections. Democrats have controlled the House of Representatives since 1921, but this election could change the majority.
Commissioner Quarles presented the Butler County Republican of the Year Award to Dale Franklin.
It is an exciting time to be a Republican in the state of Kentucky, and everyone should exercise their right to vote November 8th!
