Butler Co. Bassmasters Fish Lake Beshear
Butler County Bassmasters held the Lake Beshear Open presented by Cabela’s Saturday, April 2nd. The air temperature was a little chilly and fishermen battled high winds but the lake conditions were good with 44 fish being brought to the weigh scale for a total weight of 122.67 pounds for the tournament, with all fish being released alive back in to Lake Beshear to be caught again. 15 boats participated in the tournament with:

David & Ryan Coleman taking 1st place with 19.25 lbs. and Big Bass 5.78 lbs.,

2nd Jason Daugherty and Beau Mueller 15.42 lbs.,

3rd Danny Cardwell and Chris Phelps 14.31 lbs.,

4th Daniel Cardwell and Nathan Neighbors 14.14 lbs.
BCB would like to thank Cabelas for their commitment to the sport of bass fishing and the great products and services they provide to outdoorsmen. The next BCB event will be a regular season points tournament at Barren River Lake. The tournament will be at the Port Oliver Ramp on Saturday, April 16th. Start time for the event will be at 6:30 AM, with weigh-in at 2:30 PM. Entry fee will be $40.00/boat. Come on out for a great day of fishing.
