A crowd gathered at the BCHS Commons area on Friday night, December 27th, to pay tribute to a man that has become a community fixture since arriving in Butler County in 1966. Dr. Richard T.C. Wan will retire from his medical practice on January 1st.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, a possible bomb threat was discovered at Butler County Middle School. Law enforcement officials were immediately notified and all students were evacuated to the Morgantown Elementary gymnasium.
