Kentucky Public Retirees Meeting

The Barren River Chapter of the Kentucky Public Retirees will be meeting on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the BRADD Office, 177 North Graham Avenue, Bowling Green.  BRADD Office is located on the north side of Bowling Green, just off Plum Springs Road. 

Representative Steve Riley, House District 23, Barren County and part of Warren County will be our guest speaker.

Any retirees of Kentucky State, County and State Police Retirement Systems are invited to attend  This includes KRS state government employees, non-teaching staff at the regional state supported universities, employees of the local Health Departments, regional mental health/mental retardation agencies, and all quasi-state agencies (credit unions, Kentucky Association of Counties, League of Cities, and many others.  CERS includes all city and county governments, police and firefighters, non-teaching staff at local boards of education (including bus drivers, janitors, cafeteria workers, etc., circuit clerks, local library employees and other local government agency employees.  SPRS include all uniformed State Police Officers.  Spouses of current KPR members are invited to attend as well.

The Barren River Chapter includes the following nine counties:  Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren.

This non-profit organization's goal is to protect and improve our retirement benefits, represent and promote the interests of retirees before the General Assembly, State Retirement Board and other agencies; and provide a lobbyist to appear on our behalf before the General Assembly, etc.  (Visit our website at Kentuckypublicretirees.org for more information or on Facebook).
