Morgantown Trail Town and the City of Morgantown sponsored this event last Saturday; kayakers could unload at the Woodbury boat ramp and take their vehicles to the Morgantown boat ramp next to the old fairgrounds. The City's MOGO Bus was waiting take them back to Woodbury.

Ashley Runion

The Green River Road Race was held on June 5 and for the first time in race history, a female was the overall winner.  Ashley Runion, of Morgantown, finished in first place with a time of 34:00, which was a pace of 6:47 per mile for the grueling 5-mile run.

The 8th Annual Stan England Charity Golf Scramble benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Butler County was held Saturday, May 22 at the Paul Walker Golf Course in Bowling Green. Sixty golfers enjoyed great weather and friendly competition on the golf course at this year’s event.
