The Butler County High School Marching Band is getting ready to take the field for the 2015 season. This year the band has 134 members total, making the band one of the largest AA bands in the state of Kentucky. This year's show is The Road To El Dorado.

The Butler County High School Band is sporting new t-shirts courtesy of Baker Gardner, State Farm Agent in Morgantown. Gardner bought the shirts and gave them to the band. Band members recently walked to his office to thank him for supporting the band.

Phillip and Rebecca Rose are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelby Lynn, to Dustin Blake Shelby, son of Larry Dale and Pam Shelby of Graves County. Shelby is the granddaughter of Martha and the late Johnny Rose and Louise and the late Royce Forsythe, all of Butler County.
