Stormy weather on Friday evening gave way to sunny skies Saturday, much to the delight of local children who participated in Morgantown Bank & Trust’s annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Charles T. Black City Park.

Huntsville Baptist Church hosted a "Ladies Night In" painting party Saturday, March 12, 2016. The ladies enjoyed watching the video "The Greatest Artist Of All Time" by Jefferson Bethke (ft. Jenny Snipstead), illustrating God's magnificence.

A new program known as Watch D.O.G.S is being implemented at North Butler Elementary. Watch D.O.G.S is a one of a kind, school based father involvement program that works to support education and safety. The program was recommended to the NBES principal by a school board members Debbie Hammers

The following students from Morgantown Elementary won top honors in the Jim Claypool Conservation Art Contest. Lydia Brown - 1st place, Alex Bratcher - 2nd place, and Briar Griffin - 3rd place. All students are from Mrs. Janet Weathers' 3rd grade classroom. Congratulations to these students!
