It’s pecan fundraising time for the Butler County Homemakers! Homemakers are taking orders for pecans, either pieces or halves through October 26th. These are fresh pecans (2014 crop) and the Homemakers will be getting delivery of the first group picked.

Jeff Jennings former principal of North Butler comes to visit school after unbelievable K-prep scores. On October 14, 2014 Jeff Jennings came and told the school how great our scores were for K-prep and that he was very proud of us.

Community Appreciation Night and Trick -or-Treating at the 2nd District Volunteer Fire Department

Bring the kids and roast a hotdog at the bonfire. Make smores or decorate a cupcake.

There will be a baby shower for Brylee Cate Tarrence (daughter of Mallory and Brian) on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 pm at the Butler County Education Center (Tech School) Bring a bag of diapers and get signed up for a door prize. They are registered at Toys R Us.

On Saturday October 18, Butler County HOSA held a 5K Color Run/Walk. The registration began at 7:30AM in the front parking lot of ButlerCountyMiddle School.
